Map vs. Globe

Kindergarten learned the difference between a map and globe. A globe is round so you can't see all parts at the same time. Morah took play-doh and made it round like a globe. Then cut the round play-doh in half and laid the two pieces next to each other to resemble a map showing both sides at the same time. 
We also read, "Me on the Map" and worked together to create a map of our classroom. When it was complete, we hung it on the wall.
